Meet the SurgeonsThe CSANY Difference
Though filler treatments are quick and easy, we still believe in the importance of education. During your consultation, you will meet with one of the surgeons at Cosmetic Surgery Associates to discuss your goals. Then, we will thoroughly answer any questions you might have and walk you through the procedure. Only then will one of our injectables specialists administer your treatment.
Procedure Overview
If the filler you choose does not already contain an anesthetic, your skilled injector may begin by administering a local anesthetic to help minimize discomfort. Injections typically take less than 30 minutes. Following your procedure, you should notice an immediate improvement in lines and wrinkles, and you will be able to return to your daily activities immediately.
Frequently Asked Questions
How long do injectable fillers last?
Injectable fillers are a temporary solution for reducing the appearance of lines and wrinkles. The length of time that these fillers last depends on the individual and which type of filler they receive. In general, hyaluronic acid fillers, including JUVÉDERM and Restylane, usually last about 6 months or more.
What is the difference between BOTOX Cosmetic and injectable fillers?
Contrary to what some may believe, BOTOX® Cosmeticand injectable fillers are two very different types of injectables. BOTOX is injected into the muscles to temporarily improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles by reducing the muscle activity that contributes to facial imperfections. Fillers are injected into the skin to “fill in” lines, creases and wrinkles.
Can crow’s feet be treated with fillers?
Because crow’s feet are dynamic wrinkles (meaning that they are caused by repeated muscle movement over time), they cannot be corrected with injectable fillers. BOTOX can help relax the muscles that contribute to these lines, leading to a smoother and more youthful appearance.
